On 19.09.2024, an online partner meeting was held for the B-WISE project focused on upskilling of employees in social enterprises. The meeting focused on the process of national certification in the member countries, which aims at higher qualification and opportunity to develop skills and competences of persons with disabilities. Participants shared updates and identified challenges related to the certification of workers’ curriculum.
Representatives from various project partner countries, including Croatia, Slovenia, Greece and France, discussed the specific challenges they face in developing a skills development and certification curriculum. Challenges such as aligning with Croatia’s methodology, lack of feedback from Greece’s national accreditation, prompting exploration of alternative routes to certification, emerged. Emphasis was also placed on the overall achievement of European certification for the curriculum and the importance of presenting these issues to the European Commission.
