The annual competition for business projects under the National Employment Program for People with Disabilities begins. The aim of the competition, announced by the Agency for People with Disabilities, is to encourage employers to create employment conditions for these people. By participating in the employment program for people with disabilities, businesses have the opportunity to meet the quotas for hiring people from the target group, and funds can be obtained to provide access to existing or created new jobs for people with disabilities – the maximum amount is ten thousand levs.

Up to ten thousand levs are also paid for adapting the working environment to existing workplaces, and up to ten thousand levs for equipping new ones for people with disabilities, and the equipment must be in accordance with the nature of their illness. Up to a thousand levs an employer can receive for qualification and re-qualification, respectively training for professional and official development of the employee with a disability.
