The National Association of Socially Responsible Employers (NASOR) held a fruitful meeting with representatives of TESI – a leading Bulgarian manufacturer in the household appliances sector and a socially responsible employer, which is also recognized as a socially responsible employer. The meeting took place in a spirit of cooperation and shared commitment to social inclusion, inclusiveness and sustainable development.

TESI is a good example of how business can successfully combine economic growth with a commitment to people and society. The company provides jobs to a large number of people with disabilities by creating a suitable working environment adapted to their individual needs and supporting their professional development.

During the meeting, opportunities for expanding good practices were discussed, as well as ideas for future partnerships in support of social integration through employment. NASOR expressed recognition to TESI for its sustainable policy in this direction, as well as readiness to assist in the development of more initiatives for the benefit of people with disabilities.

The example of TESI shows how social responsibility can be an organic part of the business model – with care for the person, the team, and society.

The meeting is part of NASOR’s mission to unite the capabilities and efforts of employers from all sectors to create and implement socially responsible behavior and policies in support of people with disabilities.

TESI, for its part, expressed its commitment to continue developing socially responsible practices and provided specific proposals for changes in legislation so that it supports regular employers, creates conditions and provides employment for people with disabilities under regular inclusive conditions.
