In the second quarter of 2023, NASOR launched the project 2022/360526 “BSRBE – Building a Socially Responsible Business Environment”, with the support of the Norwegian financial mechanism 2014-2021, which aims to identify, improve and further develop existing CSR policies in Bulgaria by applying best practices from Norway. The project will contribute to creating a sustainable environment for social inclusion and equity and advising businesses on the benefits of CSR. It will also look at ways to improve employee quality of life, assess value creation and risks, innovation and the effects it will have on NASOR, workers, investors, businesses and the growth of the economy.
In June, the first meeting was held with Norwegian partners CSR Innovative Solutions, with whom the NASOR team discussed the next steps for the upcoming activities under WP1 – Cross-Sectoral Mapping of CSR Policies and Research on the Level of Implementation of the CSR Strategy in Bulgaria. The survey will be conducted among 20 stakeholders from the corporate sector and 5 representatives of government institutions in the field of social policies and employment. Information will be obtained through surveys and interviews with stakeholders. The result will be a “Report on the current situation of the actual implementation of the CSR strategy in Bulgaria until 2023”.
